Description
A set of twelve Italian silver Grand Tour portrait relief busts of Roman Emperors, each in a cast bronze frame decorated with leaves and scrolls, titled 'The Caesars' and with name plates (one missing) 'VITELLUS, OCTAVIUS, NERO VESPASIAN, CALIGULA, TIBERIUS, OTHO, CALBA, DOMITIAN, CLAUDIUS, TITUS', early 19th century, each frame 10 x 8cm, mounted on plush fabric and framed as one in an ebonised box frame.
