λ A collection of 19th century card cases, comprising: six mother of pearl examples, three with abalone banding, one carved with love birds, two with tortoiseshell inlay, one in tortoiseshell with mother of pearl marquetry, a papier-mache card case painted with a parakeet and a peacock, two Indian examples, one sadeli, the other sandalwood, a Chinese ivory card case and a burr wood snuff box, the majority with ivory edging, 11cm (max).
