λA William IV silver-mounted gentleman's travelling dressing table set,

by Archibald Douglas, London 1830, retailed by Briggs, Piccadilly, London,

some of the covers with pierced and engraved decoration, with a crest, comprising: a pair of cologne bottles, three circular and four rectangular toilet boxes, glass bases, plus four ivory razors, the pull-out tray reveals another tray with various implements, some with ivory, including a pair of boot hooks, a pen, plus a pair of ivory military brushes, the interior of the hinged cover with a mirror and stationary case, in a fitted brass bound rosewood case, the cover with a crest, approx. weighable 7.5oz., length 32cm.
