A continental silver casket,
with import marks for Chester 1905, importer's mark of Samuel Boyce Landeck,
rectangular form, the sides with trellis and garlands of flowers, central figural lock, the hinged cover with acanthus leaf and foliate scroll decoration and with a cherub finial holding a scroll cartouche, with traces of gilding and with a gilded interior, on four foliate bracket feet, length 22cm, approx. weight 32oz.
