A George III silver swing-handled sugar basket,
by Peter and Jonathan Bateman, London 1790,
lobed oval form, bright-cut decoration, replacement unmarked swing handle, on a raised shaped oval foot, reeded borders, length 16.8cm, approx. weight 9oz.
The crest is that of Jolly (of Scotland).
