An Edo plaque fragment
Benin Kingdom, 16th century
bronze, cast the lower half of a figure wearing a tasseled robe with a panelled border and a belt, with a characteristic flowerhead and dot decorated background, with pierced fixing holes,
23cm high, 20cm wide.
