A Maori tewhatewha club
New Zealand
with a rounded blade, pierced for attachment, with carved linear and notch decoration and two tiki masks with haliotis eyes to the top section of the shaft, with a further janus tiki mask and a tapering terminal,
137cm long.
Provenance
Given to the present owners father in the early 1950's.
