a rare Wardle pottery octagonal charger designed by Frederick Rhead, pattern no.323, painted to the well with a ferocious Chinese Dragon, in shades of blue, red, tan and brown on a white ground, the rim overlapping, radiating palmette, printed factory marks, 40cm. diam.
