EARLY 18TH CENTURY
the thirty hour birdcage movement striking on a bell, the a circular dial with Roman numerals, the recessed centre engraved with flowers and signed 'John Buffett in Colchester fecit', the case with two doors engraved with scrolling foliage, with pierced surmount panels and turned urn finials, 36cm high, later mounted on a walnut bracket
