EARLY 19TH CENTURY
the eight day brass drum movement with an outside countwheel striking on a bell, the backplate numbered '158', with a silk suspension, the circular dial with Roman numerals, the centre cast with leaves, signed 'Alexandre Roussel a Paris', with an entwined snake bezel, the case decorated with Apollo holding his lyre, with a scroll and a laurel wreath and further classical decoration
