the three inch globe made of twelve hand-coloured engraved gores, inscribed 'Newton's new & improved (terrestrial) globe published by Newton, Son & Berry 66 Chancery Lane London', the oceans with Cook's three voyages, South Africa titled 'Caffreria', Alaska as Russian territory and New Zealand in Maori, with iron axes pins and housed in a turned case with a domed lid
