A LATE 18TH CENTURY KINGWOOD AND SYCAMORE TEA CHEST
IN THE MANNER OF ABRAHAM ROENTGEN
inlaid with tulipwood banding, barber's pole and parquetry stringing, with marquetry fan paterae, the bell shaped hinged lid revealing a chevron veneered interior with three pull-out canisters with fan inlaid lids, one canister slightly smaller to accomodate a sliding cover to reveal a secret compartment, with an ebony base moulding
