A FRENCH CHROME AND BRASS DIVER'S HELMET INDUSTRIAL TIMEPIECE
LATE 19TH CENTURY
the central clock dial with Roman numerals, flanked by a thermometer and aneroid barometer dials, the top with a compass, the back of the helmet inscribed 'Morton Eden 25th June 1880 from H. E. Surtees', raised on a rosso antico marble plinth
