A VICTORIAN GILTWOOD 'WELLINGTON' BAROMETER BY ROE OF SALISBURY
the silvered nine and a half inch dial signed 'Roe Salisbury', with a mother of pearl handled adjuster, the carved case commemorating the life of the Duke of Wellington, decorated with a ducal coronet above tassels, a spear and his sword, the base with a portrait relief medallion, within laurel leaves and with further rondels, inscribed with the names of his most famous victories 'Waterloo', 'Badaioz', 'Assaye', and 'Vittoria'
