A JAPANESE CAST-IRON KETTLE AND COVER, TETSUBIN
MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
Cast in high relief to one side with a bird perched on a flowering branch, the reverse with a single prunus blossom, the bail handle inlaid with a design of stylised waves, a four character seal mark underneath the spout and the lid signed Ryubundo zo, 23.5cm. (2)
