FIVE JAPANESE WOOD NETSUKE OF SHISHI
MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
The lion dogs depicted in a variety of positions, two with brocade balls, one signed Masamitsu; one resting its front paws on a mokugyo bell before it, the fourth with its pup on its back and the last on a square base made of seals and with a movable ring, the faces carved with various characters, 5.8cm max. (5)
