A CHINESE BRONZE INCENSE BURNER
QING DYNASTY
The compressed body flaring at the rim, decorated with large characters reserved on a finely incised ground of floral diaper, with two loop handles issuing from mythical beast masks, the base with a four character mark reading sheng shou wan nian, 14cm, 619g.
Provenance: from the estate of the late Dr Trevor Smith, Hampshire.
