λ A CHINESE SILVER THREE-PIECE TEA SET

19TH CENTURY

Comprising: a teapot with a hinged cover, a sugar bowl and a cream jug, each decorated in relief with a scaly dragon wrapping its body around the exterior, the handles and teapot spout shaped as bamboo branches, with ivory insulators to the teapot handle, the cream jug and sugar bowl with gilt to the interior, each with three punch marks to the base reading 'Shinghai', 'Singfat' and De Long, 23.4cm max, 522g, 245g and 204g.
