A CHINESE PARCEL-GILT SILVER HAIRPIN

TANG DYNASTY

Formed as a two-pronged pin terminating in a finial formed as an openwork floral spray, the flowers and leaves with finely incised details, 25.1cm, 15g.

Provenance: from an English private collection, purchased from Bluett & Sons Ltd on 19th September 1979, and thence by descent.
