A CHINESE BAMBOO 'LANDSCAPE' BRUSHPOT, BITONG
QING DYNASTY
The narrow cylindrical body carved in relief with a continuous landscape, with figures fishing from boats on the river and houses dispersed through the mountainous setting, 15.4cm.
Provenance: from an English private collection acquired prior to 1950, and thence by descent.
