A MIDDLE EASTERN SILVERED AND GILDED IRON DISH
19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
Shaped as a flowerhead, decorated with a large leaf surrounded by many scrolling flowers, with four panels enclosing inscriptions to the cavetto, the reverse with geometric patterns, with a paper label reading '2204500' to the base, 36.5cm, 851g.
Provenance: a private English collection, London and Shetland.
