A CHINESE CELADON JADE BRUSH WASHER
QING DYNASTY
The beehive-shaped pot surrounded by a crouching boy and a fish squirting water as it emerges from breaking waves, one side with an inscription from the Song dynasty poem Que Qiao Xian (Fairy on the Magpie Bridge) by Qin Guan, the seal script characters reading rou qing si shui jia qi ru meng, with a seal mark reading wen wan, 17cm.
