A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE BALUSTER VASES

19TH CENTURY

Each brightly painted with an official enjoying wine with ladies on a high walled pavilion, with figures on boats picking lotus below, the reverse of each with a pair of peafowl and other birds amongst various blossoming flowers, together with wood covers, 34cm. (4)

Provenance: formerly the collection of Anne Marie Wood, Warwickshire, acquired no later than the 1990s.
