SIX SMALL CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE WINE CUPS AND A PAIR OF TEA BOWLS
KANGXI 1662-1722
Comprising: a pair of flared wine cups decorated with ladies, the bases with marks reading Qi Yu Tang zhi, another similar cup also with a Qi Yu Tang zhi mark, a cup painted with a lady and boy with a four character Chenghua mark, a pair of hexagonal cups painted with birds, flowers and landscapes, and a pair of tea bowls with four character Chenghua marks, 8cm max. (8)
Provenance: from a deceased estate, Dorset. The hexagonal cups and three cups with qi yu tang zhi marks purchased from Artemesia, Alresford between March and June 1989. Copies of the invoices are available.
