A LARGE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'PHOENIX' INCENSE BURNER
KANGXI 1662-1722
The bombé-shaped body painted with six phoenix medallions, the mythical birds divided by stylised clouds, with a band of ruyi-heads encircling the flared rim, all raised on a straight circular foot, with double rings to the base, 24cm.
