λA matched three-piece French silver hot chocolate set,
the coffee pot with maker's mark of LD in a lozenge, circa 1900,
in the Louis XV manner, swirl-fluted baluster form, leaf capped scroll handles, the chocolate pot with a hinged cover with a swivel-hinged shell finial, the handle with ivory insulators, the sugar bowl with a cover with a shell finial, on four foliate capped scroll legs, initialled, height of pot 25cm, approx. weight 45oz.
