A late 19th century Japanese lacquered aide memoire cover,
circa 1880,
rectangular form, foliate borders, the centre enamelled and inlaid with mother-of-pearl with the arms of a European family, possibly Austrian, the reverse with a Japanese landscape, silk lined, length 11.3cm.
