λA Victorian silver-mounted crocodile skin aide memoire,
by Walter Thornhill, London 1883,
rectangular form, the borders with engine-turned decoration, applied with a crowned N, the leather interior with two compartment and with a pencil, later elastic strap, length 10cm.
The Ducal coronet is for Duke of Newcastle, Norfolk, Northumberland.
