Description

A pair of 18th century silver wine coasters,

unmarked, probably Irish circa 1780,

circular form, pierced and embossed with figures, birds and foliate scroll decoration, rope-work borders, wooden bases, engraved with a crest, diameter 14.3cm, height 6.3cm. (2)

The crest is that of Newcome.
