An Inuit woman's container and cover

Western Arctic

sealskin and coloured glass beads, of globular form sewn in strips of natural and tanned skin, the shoulders previously with a handle and the cover with a radiating circle design with eight semi-circles to the outer edge, with written inventory number 77 CLA 353 : A to the container and 77 CLA 353 : b to the cover, late 19th century,
