A Sudanese sword (kaskara), broad double edged blade 29 in. and stamped with star and crescent marks, iron cross piece, half of the grip clad in silver repoussé and the remainder in leather, leather scabbard of characteristic flaring form; together with an Indian sword (tulwar), slightly curved blade 30 in., steel hilt of Indo-Muslim form.
