A South Indian dagger, tapering single-edged blade 11 in.; ornate brass hilt with down-turned quillons in the form of boars' heads, elephant head pommel, the trunk forming the knuckle bow in opposition to another that projects from the front quillon, bone grips; brass scabbard.
