A Sinhalese knife (piha-kaetta), heavy single edged blade 9 in., the lower part and the fullers clad in brass with scrolling foliage inlaid in white metal; two-stage hilt with two scrolling brass plates enclosing the base of the blade, finely carved horn grip; fluted wooden scabbard with white metal collar.
