A collection of South East Asian weapons, comprising: a Moro sword (barong), heavy leaf-shaped single-edged blade 16 in., silver clad grip and elaborately carved wooden pommel; a Siamese sword (dha), the long hilt clad in embossed white metal; another dha, plain cord wrapped hilt; a mandau, heavy blade of characteristic asymmetrical cross section, carved wooden pommel with tufts of hair; an Assamese sword (dao), heavy flaring blade 19 in., rattan bound hilt; and a Sumatran knife, hatchet point blade 14 in., faceted brass hilt, wooden scabbard with characteristic horizontal projection from the top.
