An early 19th Century British light cavalry officer's sword, slightly curved pipe backed blade 35 in., double edged for the last 9.5 in., steel stirrup hilt similar to the 1796 pattern with D-shaped langets and with elongated pommel tapering towards the knuckle bow, wire bound shagreen grip, steel scabbard with two loose rings.
