A scarce French 7mm six shot single action percussion revolver by Devisme of Paris, sighted octagonal barrel 4 in. with integral top strap engraved ''Devisme a Paris', barrel lug incorporating a take-down lever, chambers with Thouvenin type pillars, internal hammer with spur projecting through the top of the frame, action embedded in a hardwood stock stamped '9481', chequered grip, steel butt cap engraved 'DEVISME BTE'
