A Royal Artillery officer's blue cloth Home Service helmet, gilt brass front plate and ball spike on cruciform base, brass bound peak, lined interior with leather sweatband, leather lined brass chinscales; together with an Imperial German pickelhaube, leather with white metal helmet plate for Hesse-Darmstadt, steel spike on round base; and a small collection of spurs, six pairs, brass and steel, displayed on a fabric covered wooden block.
