A William De Morgan Proud Lion pottery charger, painted to the well with a proud lion, standing alert on a small island, the sun rising or setting on the horizon, the rim with a frieze of stylised foliage in ruby lustre on a white ground, unsigned, restored, 35.5cm. diam.
