A large Pilkington's Lancastrian Pottery vase by Richard Joyce, dated 1925, shouldered form with flaring neck, painted with a frieze of classical Greek warriors spearing a wild boar, between stylised foliage, in golden lustre on a blue and red ground, painted artist cipher and date, small chip to base rim, 41cm. high
