A rare Chinese ovoid vase, the body thinly potted and painted with a continuous scene of figures in fields and in boats in a rocky, watery landscape, 1st half 18th century, 25cm. Cf. Jrg, Chinese Ceramics in the Collection of the Rijks Museum, Amsterdam: The Ming and Qing dynastys, pp.288-9, no.337 for an eggshell vase of similar shape.
