the pull-off lid engraved with the coat of arms of the city of Wells, with the motto 'Hoc Fonte Derivata, Copia in Patriam, Populumque Fluit', together with a brass 'miser's pinch' snuff box, with a sliding lid and machine turned decoration to base (2)
