the brass eight day movement with four turned pillars and a verge escapement, striking on a bell, with pull-repeat, with a bob pendulum, the backplate finely engraved with Rococo scrolls, leaves and flowers, the brass arched dial with a silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, the matted centre with a date aperture and a signature reserve, inscribed 'Marmd Storr London', with pierced blue steel hands, the arch with a strike / silent dial and with gilt Rococo spandrels, the bell top case with a brass handle, with glazed sides and doors
