A LARGE GEORGE III EBONISED BALLOON BRACKET CLOCK
WILLIAM SMITH, LONDON, LATE 18TH CENTURY
the brass eight day movement with four turned pillars, with an outside countwheel, striking on a bell, the ten and half inch circular silver dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, signed 'Willm Smith London', with pierced hands, the case with brass bezel and Rococo scroll mounts, the sides with cherub masks, the interior with an oval trade label 'Percy Webster Clockmaker 87 Great Portland Street No. 6960'
