A FRENCH 'COROMANDEL' LACQUER AND EBONISED COMMODE IN LOUIS XV STYLE

AFTER BERNARD II VAN RISENBURGH, 19TH CENTURY

with ormolu mounts, the oriental style lacquer panels polychrome decorated with exotic birds, pine and prunus trees and chrysanthemums on a gilt ground, the breche d'Alep marble top with a moulded edge, fitted with two drawers with Rococo handles, flanked by chutes mounted with espagnolettes, 'C' scrolls and leaves
