inlaid with stringing, the quarter veneered hinged and crossbanded lid revealing an Hungarian ash lined interior, on bracket feet, with key and related ephemera
7.5cm high, 30.5cm wide, 23cm deep
Provenance
Made by Mr Ford to hold an album relating to the retirement of Mr Henry Madden, Chief Inspector of Schools under West Ham Education Committee. By his written account the box was made from hundred and forty separate pieces of wood.
