A TIBETAN BRONZE FIGURE OF VAJRAPANI

17TH/18TH CENTURY

The bodhisattva cast seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus throne, with his hands at his chest in karana mudra, he holds the stems of lotus flowers which blossom at his shoulders, a vajra (his main attribute) rests upon the flower at his right shoulder, 13cm, 352g.
