A SMALL CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE CARVING OF A BOY

QING DYNASTY

The smiling child depicted standing holding a ruyi sceptre over his shoulder, with his hair tied in two buns, the stone with some minor white mottling and russet markings, together with a wood stand, 6.5cm. (2)

Provenance: from an English private collection, acquired in Asia c.1920, and thence by descent.
