A CHINESE CELADON JADEITE 'LOTUS' WATERPOT
LATE QING DYNASTY
Carved as a large lotus with its petals curling at the edges, the flower surrounded by leaves, a seed pod, a water reed and a smaller bloom, their stems tied at the ends to form the base, the stone with russet inclusions and some pale mottling, together with a wood stand decorated with inlaid silver wire, 10.6cm across.
