A CHINESE WHITE JADE MUGHAL-STYLE BOX AND COVER
19TH CENTURY
Formed as a four-petalled flower, the box carved with four compartments, with a red bead to the cover, the pale translucent stone with some inclusions and grey specks, 7.8cm. (2)
Provenance: previously sold at Christie's London, 10th December 1990, lot 244, and formerly the collection of Gerard Arnhold (1918-2010).
