A CHINESE GREEN GLAZED POTTERY 'HILL' JAR AND COVER
HAN DYNASTY
The cylindrical body moulded in relief with figures and creatures, two sides with animal mask handles, the conical cover decorated with further animals in a mountainous setting, all raised on three feet modelled as beasts, 19.3cm high. (2)
Provenance: from a deceased estate, Hampshire, purchased from Roger Keverne.
